Bye bye old library

There is a strange emotion when, as a librarian, you have to say goodbye to the library you have known for years. Seeing the familiar walls come down is both exhilarating and nostalgic. This renovation marks a significant milestone in our library’s history.

Here are some pictures to remember how it was:

The sight of construction crews and the sound of tools at work signify progress and change. While it is a bit bittersweet to see the old, familiar spaces altered, the promise of a modern, more functional library fills us with excitement. The expanded space and improved amenities will undoubtedly enhance our ability to serve you, our valued patrons.

The thought of working in a newly renovated library is invigorating. We can already envision the fresh, inviting spaces where you will browse for books, the cozy corners for reading, and the innovative areas designed for learning and collaboration. The updated facilities will not only improve our efficiency but also create a more pleasant and inspiring environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Change always brings a learning curve, but it is one we are prepared to navigate with enthusiasm and dedication.

Despite all the changes, one thing remains constant: the heart of our library. Our extensive collection of books, the passion for knowledge, and our commitment to the community will never waver. The same familiar titles, cherished stories, and invaluable resources will still be here, ready to be discovered and enjoyed. Our team’s dedication to providing excellent service and fostering a love of reading will continue to be at the forefront of everything we do.

In this small publication, we share with you our excitement but also the sadness to see our beloved space being tore down.

All we can say now is good bye to our old and dusty library. We are looking forward to see you when school starts again to share our discovery of the new library and we can promise you that: it will be bigger, brighter and more colorful.

See you then!
